  Osaka Japanese Steakhouse Happy Birthday! This is a wonderful place to celebrate your birthday, as I celebrated mine here last week. Other than it being a little expensive it is worth the pay. The food is cooked right in front of you, this hibachi place has everything you could think of. When it’s time to sing you happy birthday the whole restaurant hears it. They bang on the drum while multiple employees sing it to you while it is also playing over the loudspeakers. My whole family was here, and I loved it. There was fifteen people in my party, and we all got to sit and celebrate together. I recommend this place if you don’t mind a loud and chaotic atmosphere. Osaka doesn’t even feel like dinner it feels like fun! If you are feeling adventurous then give them a try!

Sunnyside Breakfast Lounge, Mesa Arizona

  Sunnyside Breakfast Lounge I have also been here a few times as it is one of my favorite breakfast places. If I could come here every day I would however they are sadly closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays due to being short staff. This is understandable because with the world the way it is today, most companies are understaffed. Aside from that, this place is family owned, has the best Eggs Benedict and Bloody Mary’s in the valley. The hollandaise sauce is to die for, and I always ask for extra. The servings are decently big I could never finish my home fries. However, the Bloody Mary’s, you could drink them all day they are so good. I have no problem finishing those! I really recommend bringing family and friends here for a breakfast or brunch. They sadly do not take reservations so be there soon if you expect it to be busy (or call ahead like I do)! Enjoy!

Boca Taqueria, Eastmark Arizona

  Boca Taqueria Visted multiple times I am now a regular at this place! I have gotten to know most of the employees and the general manger I am here so much. Boca Taqueria is in the heart of my community center. It is a great place to hang out and enjoy a drink with some nachos. I feel so at home here and connected with my community. I am normally here at happy hour during the week from 2-6 pm. They have amazing deals during happy hour such as five-dollar margaritas along with beans and rice for only three-dollars. Other than the food and atmosphere the employees are all super nice especially for being so young. It is a younger staff which is awesome and makes it feel very youthful. Everyone here is amazing and everything about this place is spectacular. See you there!

Barrio Queen in Downtown Gilbert

  Barrio Queen Visted on April 18, 2022. My boyfriend and I sat down for an amazing late lunch. The host was quick to seat us outside where we requested to be. She was very attentive. From there we were greeted by our waitress,  Rachel. Rachel did an amazing job and had an amazing personality. The atmosphere of this place was unreal! For a second, I thought I was in Mexico City (where the restaurant comes from). It was so Authentic. The chips and Salsa were so good I even took some home to eat as a midnight snack. After ordering we got our food in a timely matter, I believe it was only fifteen minutes. From there everything just got better. My boyfriend and I both got entrees. I got the Steak Ranchero, and it was marinated in a home-made wine sauce that is defiantly worth trying. My boyfriend got the Carne Asada Entrada which was cooked on the girl to perfection.
